Family History

Nomi Nattlin is the daughter of Esther Nattlin, once the greatest Witch of her age. No one knows why Nomi Nattlin’s mother, Esther, married the Faerie Lord, Darrlynnze III, though the most popular theory is that she did it out of ambition, not out of love.

Early Years

Nomi Nattlin was born in the grand court of Darrlynnze III and she spent her childhood studying under the guidance of the great Faerie-lady, Ellsterstar. In her free time, Nomi Nattlin loved to play with young Faeries, Elves, and Humans, for those were the days when these three Races were briefly allied and could live together.

The Turning Point

As a young Witch, Nomi Nattlin witnessed many things, some of them quite wonderful and others quite horrible. Her childhood ended bitterly with the betrayal by Darrlynnze III of his two renowned Magickans (one was Nomi’s mother) and the conjuring of his Dark Curse. Nomi Nattlin had to flee for her life, hiding herself among the Witches who lived in the Stunted Forests.

Coming of Age

The happiest times of Nomi Nattlin’s life were after she married the widowed Dwayle Chase, a talented and kind Wizard of the Westerly High Order. It was during these years of contented marriage that she came to know and love her stepson, Dowd.

Like her mother before her, Nomi Nattlin is somewhat of an expert on Faeries. She has also made a serious study of mushrooms and of all creatures with wings. She has some skill speaking to trees and she is a first-rate conjurer of many spells and potions.

What most blackens her life, even years afterward, is the part her mother played in the conjuring of the Dark Curse. Still, Folks say she is a kind Witch and a good Healer.
